Aikatsu! – 125

Our Dream means... our dream

Our Dream means… our dream

Did you know that “high blue” is another name for pure blue, which is the color when it’s not mixed with any others? I sure didn’t.

The first time I watched this episode I smiled. The second time I cried. Now I have achieved enlightenment.

Episode 125: Torrent

PS: We’re not doing PriPara, but I do love Falulu.

Haha, and here I was checking to see if that show was on your radar at all. Oh well, I hope someone finishes it/picks up S2 in any case.

    • I do get the feeling that PriPara won’t be subbed at all…or, well, at least not in english. Seeing as no one seems to try to pick up the remaining episodes of S1 for Naisho, because they once again disappeared without a word, I highly doubt anyone will take care of S2.

Guess that means that we have to learn korean and watch the raws. /sighs

  2. I think I can guess what Akari-chan will be doing about this time next year….

After getting these snippets from the movie over the past few episodes, I can’t wait to see it! I think the first one was when we got a look at Akari-chan’s Premium Dress from the movie.

  4. That was an amazing episode. I didn’t like the show much at first, in fact after watching the first two episodes I dropped the show for quite a while, but last summer having all that time off from college I decided to give the show one more chance. I took me a while to actually get into the show, but I am so glad I stuck with it. It turns out, that the part that truly made me fall in love with the show was when Soleil was formed, so this ep was especially enjoyable for me. I absolutely love this show now. I look forward to continue watching this show with you all 😀

It sucks though that having just recently gotten into PriPara that the group doing it is one of those insanely slow groups; however, I can fully understand why you wouldn’t want to take more shows. I do love PriPara though which is odd since I couldn’t stand Pretty Rhythm.

  5. I don’t have words for describe how thankfull I am to you, Akatsukin and staff, for sub this show every week. Thanks, Mezashite, for exists and brings me this satisffaction and happiness.

  7. Thank you mezashite for doing an awesome job in subbing Aikatsu!
I have no idea why, but when I saw the montage at the end as Soleil was getting into the bus, I kind of freaked out because I thought that the series was ending. Then to make matters worse, they had Calendar Girl for the ending credits song which, to me, usually signals the end of a series. After seeing the preview, my reaction was something along the lines of, “Dang it Aikatsu producers! Quit scaring me like that!”.

  9. Late to commenting, but when I saw this episode some days ago… man, the feels of nostalgia came rushing to me. It’s like I was reliving the Soleil days from season 1 for a while. A small ‘while’, but a very special one. This episode was something I’ve likely been wanting for a long, long time, without even knowing it. I am a big Ichigo fan to top it off, so I loved it even more.

And god, that good old ending theme: All. My. Yes.

I had a blast watching this; thank you for subbing this show. Please, do not ever drop it.

  10. Thank you for this. It’s both wonderful and unbelievably sad, because this probably is the very last hurrah for the Great Ones, the original cast whose time has now passed forever into history…for me personally, those days were emblematic of a period in my life vastly superior to what came afterward, so its especially heartbreaking for me to bid them a final farewell.

    • Personally, I doubt this is the last we’ve seen of Soleil. First, they’re *only* going to be touring for six months. I have a feeling from Akari-chan’s statement that we’ll get to see her compete for Starlight Queen around this time next year… and maybe even win. That seems to be her dream now, and the show is all about having dreams and making them come true. We know Sakura-san won’t compete again because she’s entering the high school next week(?). Besides, we could easily see episodes with Soleil on tour, and everybody’s connected by email and KiraKiratter, so I think everybody will keep in touch.

At least this is what *I’m* hoping for. ;^)
